The extraction of wisdom teeth is an operation that can make eating a little difficult during convalescence. It is obviously important to continue eating. That’s why nutrition therapist Florence Maire has put together 3 easy, healthy recipes for you to enjoy without moderation after your wisdom teeth have been extracted!
Cold cucumber, courgette and mint soup
Ingredients:
– 360g peeled cucumber
– 360g semi-peeled courgettes
– 2 sprigs mint
– 100g curd cheese
– 2 tablespoons rapeseed oil
How do I go about it?
1. Rinse the cucumber and courgettes well.
2. Place the chopped cucumber and courgettes in a bowl.
3. Add the mint and blend.
4. Add the quark, salt and rapeseed oil and mix well.
5. Chill for at least 30 minutes.
Sweet potato muffins
Ingredients:
For about 10 muffins
– 260g sweet potato purée
– 2 eggs
– 60g honey
– 130ml milk
– 2 tablespoons rapeseed oil or melted butter
– 1.5 teaspoons vanilla extract
– 1.5 teaspoons cinnamon
– 1 packet yeast
– 110g dark chocolate chips
– 1 pinch of salt
– 130g ancient wheat flour
How do I make this?
1. Preheat the oven to 180°.
2. Peel and cut the sweet potatoes into large chunks
3. Chop the chocolate into large pieces
4. Steam the sweet potatoes. Once cooked, blend and leave to cool slightly.
5. Place the eggs, honey, milk, oil or butter, vanilla, cinnamon, baking powder and salt in a bowl and mix well.
6. Add the chocolate, flour and sweet potato purée.
7. Mix until smooth.
8. Spoon into greased or greaseproof muffin tins and bake for 15 to 20 minutes.
9. Leave to cool and enjoy.
Savoury crepe - Crêpep's by Florence Maire
Ingredients for one pancake
– 1 egg
– 15g oat flakes
– 15g buckwheat flour
– 1 tablespoon water
– Ghee/coconut oil
– Plain yoghurt
– Salmon/turkey ham/tuna
– Lemon (in moderation, depending on the condition of your wounds)
How to proceed:
1. Mix the egg, oats, flour and water.
2. Melt the ghee/coconut oil in a pan.
3. Pour in the crêpep’s mixture
4. Cook on both sides
5. Garnish as desired
